SPARKY ATTENDS JOHN THEISSEN FOUNDATION WISH ROOM GRAND OPENING

by Staff Writer / New York Islanders

Sparky made his way into Wantagh to attend the Grand Opening of the John Theissen Foundation’ Wish Room.  The John Theissen Foundation was created to provide hospitals and child-care facilities with therapeutic and recreational equipment, support families with financial assistance to defray medical expenses, and to offer sick and needy children toys throughout the holiday season.  The Wish Room allows for sick and underpivelaged children to come on down and pick out toys they have always dreamt of having but never have had.  Sparky, along with some other characters were in attendance to greet the children who were coming down to the Wish Room to take photos and have some fun.  It was a very special day for Sparky to be able to be a part of something so special.  To learn more about the John Theissen Foundation and see how you can help them, visit them on the web at www.jtcf.org
