Upcoming: 4 games in 5 nights

Friday, November 25th at Syracuse Crunch, 4-1 L - For the first time since 2002, the Sound Tigers did not play on Thanksgiving night, but the team did spend the holiday on the road preparing for Friday's game in Syracuse versus the Crunch.  ALLAN ROURKE opened the scoring with the Sound Tigers' fourth shorthanded goal of the year and took a team, season-high eight shots on goal.  However, Syracuse goaltender ANDREW PENNER played a great game making 37 saves and stopping a second-period penalty shot by Islanders prospect MASI MARJAMAKI.

Saturday, November 26th at Philadelphia Phantoms, 4-3 OTL - A few hours after the Islanders beat the Flyers 4-2, the Sound Tigers and Phantoms took to the same Wachovia Center ice and treated the holiday-weekend crowd to a very entertaining game.  TRAVIS BRIGLEY, JEREMY COLLITON and BRUNO GERVAIS scored once each and WYATT SMITH had a pair of assists for the Sound Tigers, but Philadelphia's FREDDY MEYER scored on a rare five-on-three, overtime power play after the Sound Tigers were penalized twice in the opening minute of the extra session.

Assists - ROB COLLINS, 15

Points - ROB COLLINS, 21

Plus/Minus - STEVE REGIER, +9

Penalty Minutes - KEVIN COLLEY, 56

Shutouts - CHRIS MADDEN, 1

Goals Against Average - CHRIS MADDEN, 2.97

Save Percentage - CHRIS MADDEN, .907

Wednesday, November 30th at Hershey Bears, 7 p.m.
- This will be the first of four visits to Chocolatetown this season and the first of three in 12 days for the Sound Tigers.  Hershey is in the first season of an affiliation with the Washington Capitals and begins the week with 29 points and a 12-4-2-3 record.

Friday, December 2nd at Lowell Lock Monsters, 7:35 p.m. - The Lock Monsters shouldn't have trouble finding motivation as the Sound Tigers make their first visit of the season to Lowell because the Sound Tigers won the first meeting of the teams 5-1 in Bridgeport on November 13th.

Saturday, December 3rd vs. Philadelphia Phantoms, 7:05 p.m. - The Sound Tigers will open a three-game homestand with their fourth meeting with the Phantoms in less than a month.

Sunday, December 4th vs. Hartford Wolf Pack, 4:05 p.m. - The Sound Tigers will look for their first win in the season series as Hartford comes to Bridgeport for the first time this year in the middle game of three in a row at home for the Sound Tigers.

Wednesday, December 7th vs. Hershey Bears, 11 a.m. - The Sound Tigers will host Hershey at 11 a.m. in the third-annual, educationally-themed "Cool Fun 101" morning game.  The event will be filled with fun and interactive exercises that will relate lessons in math, science, geography and more to the sport of hockey.

- D PAUL FLACHE (0+3) remains on a three-game assist streak but has been out of the line-up for over a week while recovering from a concussion.

- C JEREMY COLLITON only had to wait in the hall for the Islanders equipment to be moved out of the dressing room and the Sound Tigers gear to enter when he was reassigned by the big club Saturday.

- The Sound Tigers are in the midst of four straight road games and will begin a stretch of eight games in 12 days later this week.

Language does not appear to be an issue as Islanders prospect EVGENY TUNIK has found a comfortable home on a line with MATT KOALSKA and STEVE REGIER. Although Koalska and Regier have never met a conversation they didn't like, Tunik's English is very limited.  However, the trio has totaled 33 points this season.  Koalska finished last week tied for the Sound Tigers lead with seven goals while Regier was a team-best +9 and Tunik, an Islanders second round pick in 2003, was second on the squad with nine assists.

- JOEL BOUCHARD (scapula), JUSTIN PAPINEAU (shoulder) and JODY ROBINSON (knee) are out indefinitely.

- PAUL FLACHE (concussion) and COLE JARRETT (ribs) are day-to-day.

- JEREMY COLLITON was reassigned by the Islanders Saturday.

Sound Tigers tickets can be purchased in-person at Bridgeport's Arena at Harbor Yard box office, on-line at or over the phone by calling 203-368-1000.  Information about group discounts, birthday packages, fundraisers and youth-hockey programs is available by calling the team directly at 203-334-GOAL.
