The summer-long I.C.E. Tour continued its trip around Long Island with its first season ticketholder sectional barbeque. On Thursday evening, NYI 365 members from the 200 sections were invited to Cantiague Park to take part in an Islanders-run barbeque, featuring Trent Hunter and Freddy Meyer.

"It is nice to be able to put a face to the fans that come down and support us every home game," said Meyer. "I had a great time and look forward to coming back the first week in July to meet more fans."

Besides the delicious burgers and hot dogs cooked by the Islanders staffers, the famous inflatables were also on the scene, along with Sparky and the Ice Girls.

"I had a great time at the barbeque tonight," said Hunter, who spent the week visiting various community events on Long Island. "This has been a great week for me to meet with the fans. From visiting schools and ice rinks to visiting the team store and being here tonight, I'm excited to see everyone again once training camp starts."

Sectional barbeques for the 100s and 300s will take place later this summer.
