Now is the time to register for the tenth annual Islanders Children's Foundation (ICF) Golf Outing at Bethpage State Park! This year's event will take place at 10 a.m. on Tuesday, Sept. 12. Islanders players, coaches and alumni will tee off with fans for a terrific cause. The ICF Golf Outing is one of the biggest events the foundation hosts and annually raises over $100,000 dollars. The golf outing allows fans and sponsors to connect with the Islanders organization during a relaxing round of golf before the players lace up their skates for the 2017-18 regular season.

Each group will register a foursome, and a player, coach or Isles alum will join as the fifth player. The event is set up as an 18-hole shamble-style tournament and will take place on the Red & Blue Courses in Farmingdale, home of the 2002 and 2009 PGA U.S. Open. Participants will have a full day planned with gourmet-style meals and an exclusive reception following the 18 holes. At the reception, golfers will have the chance to take part in several memorabilia auctions and win exclusive experience prizes. All of the proceeds from the day's events will go to the ICF.
"The ICF Golf Outing is a great event that allows the fans and the Islanders team to come together in support of a great cause," said Ann Rina, Islanders Community Relations Director. "We take great pride in the Islanders Children's Foundation and on a yearly basis look for ways to continue helping the community that supports us year after year."
The ICF is a non-profit organization committed to supporting the community with a focus on health, education and youth hockey development. Each season, Islanders players, employees and management, as well as sponsors and fans work tirelessly to raise awareness and funds through charitable initiatives, and have raised more than 11 million since the foundation's inception in 2003.
