RE/MAX Open House Tonight at Coliseum

by Staff Writer / New York Islanders
The New York Islanders are hosting the second event in their summer-long series of RE/MAX Open Houses tonight at the Nassau Coliseum. Doors open for the event at 6:30 pm and all are invited.

This RE/MAX Islanders Open House will preview this year’s NHL Draft. General Manager Garth Snow will be on hand to discuss the latest news and information regarding this year’s draft and the Islanders fifth overall pick. Islanders gritty forward Jon Sim and fan favorite defenseman Bruno Gervais will be on hand to add insight by reflecting on their own draft day experiences.

The evening will also feature an Open Mic Q & A between the fans and Islanders head coach Ted Nolan and assistant coach Dan Lacroix.

In addition, Islanders video coordinator Mike LaZazzera will open his office for the evening, presenting fans with a rare look behind the scenes of the team's video operation.

Islanders Hall of Famer and current Director of the Islanders Business Club Mike Bossy will be available throughout the evening to meet and greet fans.

More than 1,000 fans attended the first Open House in April. These Open Houses are essentially "stakeholders meetings." If you are a fan of the New York Islanders and if you invest a great deal of passion into this hockey team, consider yourself a stakeholder.

The Islanders do.
