The New York Islanders dropped their second straight game on Saturday night, falling 5-2 to the Dallas Stars at American Airlines Center.
Mathew Barzal scored two goals - his first and second of the season - but his effort was answered by Stars captain Jamie Benn, who led his team with three points, including the game-winning goal at 8:17 of the third period.
Radek Faksa and Mason Marchment (1G, 1A), Jason Robertson and Jani Hakanpaa (ENG) also scored for the Stars, while Tyler Seguin recorded a pair of assists.
Saturday marked the Islanders first loss this season when scoring the game's first goal (6-1-0).

8:17 - DAL 3, NYI 2 - Benn records his third point of the game, going upstairs in tight after taking a feed from below the goal line from Marchment. Benn's goal is his eighth in November, which leads the NHL.
16:27 - DAL 4, NYI 2 - Jason Robertson added an insurance marker, scoring off a face-off win in the Islanders zone. Joe Pavelski gets the lone assist. Robertson's goal extends his point streak to 11 games.
