The New York Islanders defeated the St. Louis Blues 5-2 for their fifth straight win.
Brock Nelson (1G, 1A), Kyle Palmieri, Josh Bailey and Anders Lee (1G, 1A) scored for the Islanders and Vladimir Tarasenko and Robert Thomas (PPG) scored for the Blues. Noah Dobson also recorded a two-point game, with two assists.
Ilya Sorokin earned his fourth straight win and posts his fourth consecutive start giving up two or fewer goals. The win marked the Islanders first five-game winning streak since rattling off nine in a row from Feb. 28 to Mar. 14, 2021.

First Period:
8:17 - STL 1, NYI 0 - Torey Krug's shot off the end wall finds Vladimir Tarasenko open to the right of the net, and Tarasenko scores from a sharp angle. Justin Faulk earns the secondary assist.
Second Period:
0:14 - NYI 1, STL 1 - Noah Dobson's point shot deflects off Kyle Palmieri's skate for the goal.
5:06 - NYI 2, STL 1 PPG - Noah Dobson intercepts a Blues' clearing attempt on the power play and finds Anders Lee down low. Lee feeds Nelson across the net who scores.
7:05 - NYI 3, STL 1 - Josh Bailey pokes one in from behind the goal line on a second effort after a Jordan Binnington save on the rush. Mathew Barzal and Oliver Wahlstrom earn assists.
10:18 - NYI 4, STL 1 - Adam Pelech found Anthony Beauvillier with a stretch pass after a Sorokin save. Beauvillier found Nelson across the zone, and Nelson circles the net and finds Lee for the captain's sixth of the season.
Third Period:
8:40 - NYI 4, STL 2PPG - Robert Thomas scores after a pass deflected off Scott Mayfield. Ivan Barbashev and Vladimir Tarasenko pick up the assists.
18:28 - NYI 5, STL 2 - Jean-Gabriel Pageau scores his first of the season on an empty-netter.
