Radar had a teammate with him on Monday night, as Sunny, the TODAY Puppy, joined him for the Islanders 2-0 win over the Columbus Blue Jackets.
Radar,
the Islanders Puppy with a Purpose
showed Sunny around NYCB Live (Nassau Coliseum) before puck drop and got him squared away with some Isles gear. The pair even received official credentials for the game and held a press conference inside the Coliseum.

Of course, the pups were going to need tickets. Radar took Sunny to the box office, where Sunny, who is slightly older, boasted his skills as a guide dog for the visually-impaired by retrieving the ticket from the printer and handing it to the office staff. Sunny also demonstrated his ability to open the elevator by reaching up on his hind legs and pressing the button with his nose.
Radar is continuing his training with exposure to high stimulus situations. He's rewarded with a treat for obeying commands and ignoring loud noises, bright lights or quick movements that surround him while staying focused on his puppy handler, Jimmy.

Since Sunny is the wily vet of the duo, Radar got to observe his tricks and see his gameday prep, including his near immaculate attentiveness to his puppy handler.

in an immensely stimulated environment, which posed the perfect training opportunity. The pair then watched the game from the hallway as the Islanders blanked Columbus with a 2-0 win. Coincidence that the Isles are undefeated with Radar and Sunny at a game? Ask Scott Mayfield.
Tweet from @scottmayfield2: Sunny should be at every game! Good boy = good luck https://t.co/Wx1pH88l7j
