Last week, the Sound Tigers only played one game, Saturday against the Adirondack Phantoms, and Nilsson made 37 saves in a 2-1 win. Thanks to Marcinko’s tally, Bridgeport continues to surge and they have won eight straight games. Kichton continues to lead WHL defensemen in scoring with nine goals and 38 assists (47 points) in 44 games. Last week, Kichton scored the game-winner Friday against Tri-City in a 3-1 win. He followed it up with a dominant performance Saturday, scoring a goal and two assists in a 5-2 win over Portland. Kichton was held without a point in the Sunday rematch, but Spokane won 6-1. The Chiefs went 3-1 in four games last week.
