The I.C.E. Tour paid a visit to Roslyn on Monday as it visited more than 100 young campers at Pierce Day Camp. From 9:30 am to 1 pm, the I.C.E. Tour brought the inflatable slap shot booth, as well as a full set of street hockey gear for the camp. The I.C.E. Tour staff organized games and taught the youngsters how to play hockey, all in an effort to continue to grow youth hockey across Long Island. Sparky the Dragon also traveled over to spend some quality time with some of his fans. He dressed up as a goalie in the street hockey games, with the children trying their hardest to put one past him. “Sparky was funny in goal,” said 7-year-old camper Michael, who continued by summing up the day. “I had a lot of fun and am happy the Islanders came today.”
