OPEN SCRIMMAGE SET FOR SEPT. 25

The New York Islanders will play a Blue and Orange Scrimmage, followed by a Skills Competition open to the general public on Saturday, Sept. 25 at 11 a.m. at the Nassau Veterans Memorial Coliseum.  Tickets for admission will go on sale at all Ticketmaster outlets on Tuesday, Sept. 14 at 10 a.m. and are $10 with the proceeds going towards the Islanders Children’s Foundation. 


The game will feature players such as Kyle Okposo, John Tavares, Mark Streit and other members of the Islanders team.  This is the first game action the team will take part in prior to their exhibition schedule with the only game at the Nassau Coliseum on Saturday, Oct. 2 against the New Jersey Devils.
