The New York Islanders will host an open house event on Tuesday, Oct. 5 from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m., to welcome current and future season ticket holders.
The open house gives visitors the opportunity to get a preview of their current seats, as well as allow future season ticket holders to view sections currently available.
All in attendance will also get a chance to take a backstage tour of the Nassau Coliseum with members of the New York Islanders staff. The tour includes stops at the newly renovated locker room, and the new players lounge.
“When you get a chance to see behind the scenes of what’s going on with the team, it’s a nice little perk,” said Charlie Ribaudo, a current season ticket holder. “That’s something the everyday person wouldn’t be able to see. It’s fantastic.”
Throughout the open house, current and future season ticket holders will be able talk with sales representatives to answer any questions about ticket packages and receive game day information.
“I get to meet the people that help me out during the year," added Ribuado. "It’s nice to be one-on-one with everybody.”
During the open house, there will be a short meet-and-greet session featuring New York Islanders players, Sparky and the Ice Girls. Guests will also be able to take pictures with the team Zambonis.
“I’ve been to a few open houses,” said John Janes, East Rockaway. “It’s a real nice experience. You get to interact with some of the players that might be there past and present.”
