and Blake Comeau continued on their journey with the summer I.C.E. Tour as they headed up to the North Shore this morning to visit the children of the Huntington Beach Community Association. The I.C.E. Tour had all of their interactive games set up on the beachfront as the children rushed over to jump around in the moonbounce, race through the inflatable obstacle course and take their best shot at the slap-shot booth. Before letting loose on the interactive games, all of the children made sure to meet the two young forwards and get their autographs. The NHL forwards then picked teams and faced off in a pick up game of street hockey with the kids. Despite a little rain, the games still went on. Sparky the Dragon was also on hand to sign autographs and participate in the street hockey games.
"It is always fun to be able to meet your fans off the ice,” Comeau said. “Traveling all over the Island for these events really opens your eyes to the overwhelming support we have from our fans."
“I love having the opportunity to get out into the community and meet our fans on a more personal level,” Okposo said. “It’s great to see their faces again when they are cheering us on at the Coliseum.”
