In the WHL, Jared Spurgeon earned a season-high five points in Spokane’s win over Everett. In the NCAA, Doug Rogers scored his first three goals of the season in one game for Harvard. And Shea Guthrie’s nine points helped Clarkson to four consecutive wins.

Update: Despite his team going 0-1-1 against rival North Dakota over the weekend, Rakhshani chipped in with a goal and two assists. The junior forward is second on the team in goals and points.

What the Scouts Are Saying: “Rhett played two solid games for Denver last weekend. He competed all over the ice and saw all situations––power play and penalty kill. Rhett has an offensive flare and real creative side to him.”

Update: DiBenedetto keeps piling up the points. In three games last week, DiBenedetto recorded four goals and two assists, including a hat trick in Sarnia’s 7-3 win over Peterborough on Friday. DiBenedetto has recorded two three-goal games and one five-goal game on the season. He trails only John Tavares in points in the OHL.

After going goal-less in his first 18 games, Rogers broke out in a big way on Sunday. In the team’s first game since January 10, Rogers scored three goals and added an assist in Harvard’s 5-5 tie with then No. 18 Dartmouth. All three goals were scored on the power play. The junior forward is second on the team in points.
