Okposo and Rakhshani come up big for Team White, while Rogers and Day chip

in for Team BlueIslanders 2006 Draft picks Kyle Okposo, Rhett Rakhshani, Doug Rogers and Brian Day have all proven they can hold their own while playing with and
against some of the best Under 20 players in the world.

On Tuesday, the two teams at the US World Junior Evaluation Camp began competing against their counterparts eligible for the Swedish and Finnish
World Junior National Teams. In four contests, the US is 3-0-0-1 with all of the Islanders prospects playing keys roles in their teams' success.

Okposo and Rakhshani were two of the biggest contributors in Team White's 5-4 victory over Finland on Wednesday and 4-3 shootout loss to Sweden on

Rakhshani tallied a goal and an assist on Tuesday and assisted on the first
of Okposo's two goals on Wednesday. Okposo compiled two goals and an assist
on Wednesday and added an assist on Tuesday in the team's shootout loss.

For Team Blue, Islanders 2006 draft picks Rogers and Day have
also looked strong out there. Rogers recorded an assist in each of Team
Blue's two victories over Sweden and Finland, while Day set up the game
winner in Blue's 5-4 victory over Finland on Tuesday.

Today was an off day for both U.S. teams. They will return to action on
Friday, with Team White taking on Sweden at 4 pm and Team Blue facing off
against Finland at 7 pm at the Olympic Center in Lake Placid.

The players are auditioning for a spot on the US National Junior Team that
will take part in the 2008 International Ice Hockey Federation World Junior
Championship, Dec. 26, 2007-Jan. 5, 2008, in Pardubice and Liberec, Czech
