Free tix for kids and a chance to shoot on the Coliseum ice among the treats

On Saturday, October 21 kids rule the Nassau Coliseum as the Islanders host Kids' Opening Night. Here are just some of the treats the franchise has in store for its young fans when the Islanders take on the defending Stanley Cup champion Carolina Hurricanes:

  • Children 14 and under are invited to come down to the Coliseum ice after Saturday night's game and take a shot on goal! Islanders defensemen Chris Campoli and Joel Bouchard will be on hand to sign autographs.
  • The NYI Kids Zone will debut in the Coliseum Plaza at 4 pm. The Zone features a giant Islanders slide, slapshot booth, DJ, face painting and much, much more!
  • Sparky, Stinger, Stormy, Sabretooth, Wildwing and many other NHL mascots will be on hand to take part in the evening's festivities.
  • The first 5000 fans 14 and under will receive a drawstring backpack courtesy of Davis Vision.

Fans have two great options for tickets. You can purchase a Family Fun-Pack for only $125. It includes 4 tickets, 4 Islanders caps and one $10 Dave & Busters Power Card voucher. Call 1.800.882.4753 now!
