TRANSACTIONS: Selected by the Islanders in the third round (65th overall) of the 2010 National Hockey League Entry Draft.

LAST SEASON: Established junior career highs in goals (11), assists (17), points (28) and plus-minus rating (+10) in 37 games during his second Quebec Major Junior Hockey League season and his first with the Lewiston Maineiacs…Co-led the team with 20 points (8g/12a) in 15 playoff games as the team advanced to the Presidents Cup semi-finals…Had eight multi-point games in the regular season and six in the postseason…Had a 12-game point streak in the final 12 games of the playoffs (7g/12a)…Was traded from the Moncton Wildcats to Lewiston after the first two games of the season.

CAREER: 2009-10: Posted 23 points (10g/13a) in 22 games with Moncton (QMJHL) in his first North American junior season...Missed the first month of the season while at Moncton, which drafted him in the 2009 Canadian Hockey League Import Draft and negotiated his release from his Russian club...Also missed three months due to surgery on a broken wrist...Played for Team Russia in the 2010 Under 18 World Junior Championships.

2008-09: Skated in six regular season games and four playoff games with Moscow of the Kontinental Hockey League in Russia...Also played in several international tournaments with Team Russia, including the U-18 World Junior Championships, the Ivan Hlinka Memorial Tournament and the 5 Nations U-18 Tournament.
