The puck is set to drop Saturday night at the Nassau Coliseum on the New York Islanders 2009-10 season, but if you can’t wait until then, MSG Plus has your Islander fix set to air tonight.

Starting at 7:30 p.m. MSG Plus will air three hours of pure Islander entertainment.  Denis Potvin will be featured in Halls of Fame Classics beginning at 7:30 p.m.  Immediately following, the Islanders Season Preview will air, featuring exclusive footage from Training Camp in Saskatoon and one-on-one interviews with head coach Scott Gordon, veteran center-man Doug Weight and 2009 first overall draft pick, John Tavares.  At 8:30 p.m. Halls of Fame Classics will feature Clark Gillies and his career with the Islanders.  The 1980 Championship Celebration will follow with hour-long footage from the memorable season and event.  At 10 p.m. Mike Bossy will be the final player that Halls of Fame Classic will feature, reviewing his historical career.
