LINEUP NOTES:

Thomas Greiss will start in goal. Dennis Seidenberg draws in for the injured Calvin de Haan. Thirteen forwards will dress for warmups.

DE HAAN UPDATE:

Head coach Doug Weight didn't have a definitive update on Calvin de Haan on Tuesday morning, as doctors were still evaluating the results of Monday's MRI exam.

"The only news is that it's probably better news than we thought because they are still evaluating some pictures and having some doctors look at certain scenarios, but we'll have to wait and see. He's out as of now."

HICKEY CLOSE, BUT STILL OUT:

Thomas Hickey was removed from the team's IR list on Monday evening, but is not in the lineup for Tuesday's game. Weight said he wants Hickey - who will miss his fifth straight game tonight - to get in another practice before returning.

HIT 'EM FIRST:

The Islanders are 11-0-0 when scoring first this season, but have only opened the scoring in one third of their 33 games. The Islanders are 7-12-3 when allowing the first goal - and have allowed the first goal in eight of their last nine games.

"I think we've proven our resilience and as a group we should be tired of proving our resilience," Weight said. "Most of those leads we've given up - or at least half - is the fault of us showing up at 7:30 p.m. for a 7 p.m. game and yes it's good, but we want to start at 7:05 p.m. tonight."

"If you should give up a goal or two it's good to know you have the confidence in your team and the players have the confidence in their abilities to come back."
