The New York Islanders are set to face off against the Pittsburgh Penguins on Friday night at 7 p.m. (MSG+, 970AM The Answer, 88.7FM WRHU, WRCN 103.9 FM).
The Islanders held morning skate on Friday at Northwell Health Ice Center where Jack Capuano announced his lineup and addressed the media. Keep reading for news, notes and quotes from morning skate.

The Lineup:

Jaroslav Halak will start in goal for the Islanders on Friday, marking his seventh straight start in net.
Shane Prince draws back into the lineup as the Islanders will go with 12 forwards and six defensemen. Alan Quine and Scott Mayfield draw out of the lineup. Anthony Beauvillier will move to center, which was his natural position in junior.
PROJECTED LINEUP
Capuano explained what went into the Islanders' lineup as currently constructed.
On moving Strome to the top line: "Skill. Ryan is obviously a skill guy, Bailey is a skill guy and just see if those guys can create some type of offense."
On reuniting Clutterbuck, Cizikas and Kulemin:"I like the fact that Clutterbuck, Kulemin and Cizikas are back together too. We've always had success with that line and we're going through a stretch where they haven't played together, so let's put them back and see what happens."
On Beauvillier at center: "He's one guy that we have that situation with that we can put him there. Just see how that goes and balance the lines to what we feel will give us some scoring moving forward and be sound defensively."

Seidenberg/Pulock Updates:

Dennis Seidenberg wore a face guard and took Friday's optional skate with the Islanders, but is not close to a return despite being on the ice. Seidenberg has been out a week since taking a puck to the face on Saturday in Florida.
"From a nutrition standpoint, he's not eating a whole lot," Capuano said. "I don't know how long it takes, but I don't expect it will be any time soon."
Ryan Pulock was on the ice for a solo session before the Islanders' skate. Pulock, who was set to miss 4-6 weeks with a lower-body injury, has been on IR since Oct. 21.
"He skated the last couple of days, but he's still a little bit sore," Capuano said. "He'll probably travel on the trip, but I don't know if he'd be ready to play on the trip."

Penguins Notes:

Chris Kunitz (DTD - lower body) was not on the ice for the Penguins' morning skate and is a game-time decision. Patric Hornqvist, who is day-to-day with a concussion. Matt Murray will start in goal for the Penguins.
