Hickey's Weekend Return?  Thomas Hickey will join the Islanders on their upcoming road trip to Florida and Jack Capuano hopes to use him against the Tampa Bay Lightning, the second of back-to-back games for the Islanders.

“He went through a full day of practice Tuesday and looked really good,” Capuano said. “There’s a possibility, I’m not sure about game one down there, but maybe game two. Just see how he goes. He’s skating every day and he looks good. He’s real close.”

Coach’s Corner: Jack Capuano on the Islanders special teams and even strength play:
We have to clean up our special teams if we want to be successful. I like the way we’re playing even strength and systematically we’re doing some good things, but I want the guys to play. We talk about the discipline of our game, but at the same time, I want them to read and react, play physical, play fast and do what we need to do.
