Freddy Meyer was in action for the second consecutive day traveling with the Islanders I.C.E. Tour. Meyer today had a short trip right across the street from the Nassau Coliseum to visit with all the campers at Hofstra Summer Camp. Hofstra opened up their gym for the I.C.E. Tour to set up all their interactive games. The campers were keeping themselves entertained by having races through the obstacle course and taking shots on the Islanders slapshot booth. Meyer took the time to sign autographs for everybody in attendance and he played a game of pick up hockey with some of the campers. “Today was a good second day. Today’s camp was a little different since we were set up inside but everyone seemed to be having a great time,”said Meyer. Everybody’s favorite mascot Sparky was also in attendance greeting the children.
