Opening Night has arrived and we want to see Long Island students at the Nassau Coliseum tonight when the Islanders clash with the Buffalo Sabres and on Monday for Kids' Opening Day against the Washington Capitals. Here's your chance to see the Islanders for just TEN BUCKS
and be part of the best cheering section in professional sports.
Welcome to "LOUDVILLE,”
fueled by Kickbutt amped energy ballz.
How do students get to LOUDVILLE?
Four easy steps: 1. Show up at the Coliseum loud and proud to be an Islanders fan
. (Don't forget to show your true colors by wearing your NYI jersey, cap, whatever!) 2. LOUDVILLE tickets go on sale 60 minutes before game time
, so line up at the Coliseum box office with your friends and/or make some new ones among the community of young Islanders fans on line. There are a limited number of seats available per game, so arrive early to secure a seat.3. Bring your Student ID!
There is a limit of one $10 LOUDVILLE ticket per ID. Sorry folks, but there will be no exceptions. 4. Once you get to the LOUDVILLE section, do your part to help lead the crowd in giving the Islanders the best home-ice advantage in the NHL!
"We're pleased to offer one of the most student-friendly deals in pro sports," said Chris Dey, the team's Senior Vice President of Sales, Marketing and Operations. "Our goal is to sell out the Coliseum on a regular basis, which requires us to reach and provide opportunities for several different target segments. The LOUDVILLE
program and the student discount program allow us to reach the students and make a positive impact on the game atmosphere. At the end of the day we want our fans and our home ice to be the difference makers on game day."
Tickets are based on availability. The only games the $10 seats are not available are when the Islanders host the New York Rangers, so that means students have a chance to make it to LOUDVILLE
for ten bucks to hot games that will be sellouts such as Opening Night on Oct. 6 and Kids Opening Day on Oct. 8.
Students: stay tuned to newyorkislanders.com and Islanders TV throughout the season for updates on LOUDVILLE
