The National Hockey League announced today that Islanders goaltender Robin Lehner has been named the First Star of the Week, for the period ending Sunday, Jan. 20.
Lehner, 27, posted a 3-0-0 record with a .970 SV% and a 0.67 GAA in three games. He stopped 65-of-67 shots last week and earned his third shutout of the season on Jan. 20 vs. Anaheim.

The Gothenburg, Sweden native is 15-7-3 this season and 11-1-0 in his last 12 games. Lehner's 2.02 GAA this season leads all NHL goalies who've played at least 13 games, while his .930 SV% is second amongst that group.
