ITV SPECIAL: The Ted Nolan Story

by Staff Writer / New York Islanders
Islanders TV acquires rights to broadcast CTV program

Once again, Islanders TV proves that it's the place to go for the best Islanders programming for Islanders fans.

Canadian television's "First Story" recently aired a half-hour special on Islanders head coach Ted Nolan, his upbringing, his family and his unusual route to the NHL. Islanders TV has acquired the rights to this program, and it is now available.  To watch Islanders TV go to the front page of newyorkislanders.com and click on the Islanders TV logo. Registration is free.

This is a show every true fan of the Orange and Blue will not want to miss.

As a reminder, Islanders TV also has acquired the rights to all Islanders games.  Islanders TV gets each game after Fox Sports Net's 48-hour exclusivity window is over. Islanders TV airs an easy-to-watch 60-minute version of every Islanders game entitled "Instant Isles." Islanders TV makes each game viewable for the rest of the season.

Islanders TV also offers an extended highlights package after each game.  The highlight show, called "Islelights," will feature the best moments, action and replays from each game, in a fast-paced 2-minute format.

Islanders TV is a service that debuted this season for all season ticket holders, and is now available to everyone with an internet connection on a free trial basis.  With hundreds of new registrations coming in every day, Islanders TV has become a big hit in short time.
