Isles Open the NYSE

by Staff Writer / New York Islanders
As the Islanders are preparing to ring in a new season, Team President Chris Dey—along with defensemen Andy Sutton and Chris Campoli—helped ring in a new day on Wall Street on Wednesday at the New York Stock Exchange. The three, along with NHL Commissioner Gary Bettman, opened the market by ringing the opening bell.

"I didn't really know what to expect, but it was pretty special," said Campoli. "We got to go down onto the floor afterwards to see the people and interaction and with traders. There was so much going on it was overwhelming.
Added Sutton: "We really were able to get a perspective on what goes down there. It was unbelievable.
The Islanders begin their season on Friday night against New Jersey and play Saturday night at home against the St. Louis Blues. Click here to purchase tickets.
