Isles Kick Off Floral Park Roller Hockey League

The New York Islanders kicked off the Screaming Eagles Roller Hockey League's 2018-19 season with a night of fun and hockey on Friday, September 28.
The roller hockey league season begins on Columbus Day weekend, but the fun started a little early, as Sparky the Dragon, Ice Girls, the Floral Park Mayor and Board of Trustees were on hand to drop the puck.
The Floral Park Screaming Eagles Roller Hockey League is a co-ed league for local residents Pre-K - 12th grade. The league stages three-on-three games played on Friday nights and Saturday mornings at the Floral Park Recreation Center.

The Islanders have become a league sponsor, collecting and donating gently-used hockey equipment to the organization. All jerseys in the roller league feature the Islanders patch.
