Isles prospect Oliver Wahlstrom has been loaned to AIK HockeyAllsvenskan which is the second tier of ice hockey in Sweden.

The Isles 2018 first rounder (11th overall) spent the last season and his full season of professional hockey with the Isles AHL affiliate, the Bridgeport Sound Tigers. Through 45 games, the 20-year-old winger compiled 22 points (10G, 22A) and had 29 PIMs.
Wahlstrom also earned a nine-game stint up top with the Islanders from Oct. 14 through Nov. 7.
