Isles Day to Day: Updates on Clutterbuck and Mayfield

The New York Islanders announced on Thursday morning that forward Cal Clutterbuck will miss the remainder of the season with a shoulder injury that will require surgery and defenseman Scott Mayfield will miss four-to-six weeks with a lower body injury.

Clutterbuck, who signed a two-year-contract extension on Monday afternoon, tallied 15 points (6G, 9A) through 59 games this season.
Mayfield totaled 17 points this season (3G, 15A) through 61 games this season and prior to his injury, was just one point shy of matching his career high of 19 points (4G, 15A) which he accomplished in 79 games during the 2018-19 season.
