Isles Day to Day: Dal Colle Out with Lower-Body Injury

Michael Dal Colle with miss Saturday and Monday's games against the Pittsburgh Penguins with lower-body injury, Head Coach Barry Trotz announced on Saturday morning. Trotz did not go into any detail regarding the injury.
Dal Colle has four points (1G, 3A) in 20 games this season, scoring his first goal of the year on Jan. 18 against Philadelphia. The 24-year-old had been playing alongside Josh Bailey and Brock Nelson in the last three games, all Islanders wins.
"DC's last game, I think he's been driving the line, he's been a player getting some traction, it's unfortunate he got injured," Trotz said. "That takes away a little momentum for a player, but it's an opportunity for someone to get in and make a point that they can take a permanent spot in the lineup."
