Bolduc-2

The New York Islanders recalled defenseman Samuel Bolduc on Monday, as Cal Clutterbuck was placed on IR with an upper-body injury.
Bolduc, the Islanders 2019 second round pick (57th overall), has 26 points (8G, 18A) in 40 games with the Bridgeport Islanders.
The defenseman will
represent Bridgeport at this year's upcoming AHL All-Star Classic
in his hometown of Laval.

If he plays, Bolduc would be making his NHL debut. The defenseman had a pair of goals in his most recent game in Bridgeport, a 3-2 loss to the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins.
"It means a lot," Bolduc said of his first recall. "As a young kid you dream of maybe being close to the NHL and right now, just being in the locker room with all of the guys is pretty amazing."
"He's played very well, obviously he's an All-Star in the American League," Head Coach Lane Lambert said. "With a couple of guys banged up we'll just have to wait and see what happens."
Prior to turning pro, Bolduc had 94 points (22G, 72A) in 189 QMJHL games with Blainville -Boisbriand Sherbrooke.
