Beau-Bellows

Anthony Beauvillier will return to the New York Islanders lineup on Sunday, after a false positive COVID-19 test kept the winger out of the lineup on Saturday.
Beauvillier was pulled from Saturday's home opener after returning a positive COVID-19 test, but it was determined to be a false positive, Islanders President and General Manager Lou Lamoriello announced on Sunday.
Beauvillier is tied for third on the Islanders with seven points (3G, 4A) in 13 games this season.

While the Beauvillier news was good, the Islanders also announced that Kieffer Bellows was being placed in COVID-19 protocols. Bellows has one assist in five games this season.

With Beauvillier swapping in for Bellows, Lamoriello confirmed the Islanders would not be recalling any more players from Bridgeport. Forwards Andy Andreoff and Richard Panik, as well as defensemen Grant Hutton, Paul LaDue and Robin Salo have all been recalled in the past week.
Josh Bailey, Andy Greene, Ross Johnston, Anders Lee and Adam Pelech all remain in COVID-19 protocols.
In addition to the Islanders stepping up their internal COVID-19 protocols, which reflect the team's bubble protocols per Lamoriello, the GM said the NHL is also ramping up its COVID testing regimen.
"The NHL has stepped up the testing throughout the league," Lamoriello said. "At this point, we feel comfortable with the test results we have this morning, so we'll stay with the same roster, just with Anthony replacing Kieffer."
