Anthony Beauvillier was recalled from the Bridgeport Sound Tigers on emergency conditions on Saturday afternoon.
Beauvillier was loaned to the Sound Tigers on Monday and played two games with the Sound Tigers, scoring two goals in a 3-2 OT loss to the Rochester Americans on Friday. The Islanders 2015 first-round pick (28th overall) had seven points (4G, 3A) in 31 games with the Isles this season.

Beauvillier's recall was necessitated after an injury to Islanders co-leading scorer Josh Bailey, who left Friday's game with a lower-body injury and did not return.
"I haven't got a substantial report, obviously he didn't return so it's not great," Head Coach Doug Weight said of Bailey.
Andrew Ladd and Ryan Pulock also left Friday's game in the third period, but there were no updates on either player after the game.
The Islanders are back in action on Sunday afternoon against the New Jersey Devils, their last game before the team's bye week.
