Beau-Greene-Pelech

Three more Islanders - Anthony Beauvillier, Andy Greene and Adam Pelech - were placed into COVID-19 protocols, per Islanders President and General Manager Lou Lamoriello.
Greene and Pelech were placed into protocol on Friday night, while Beauvillier was placed into protocol on Saturday afternoon. Josh Bailey, Anders Lee and Ross Johnston were already placed in protocol earlier in the week.
In the wake of the announcement, forwards Andy Andreoff and Richard Panik, as well as defensemen Grant Hutton and Paul LaDue, recalled from the Bridgeport Islanders.

"Prior to today we had three players in COVID protocol," Lamoriello said. "Last night two more players, Adam Pelech and Andy Greene have also been put in protocol. And 15 minutes ago we received a today's morning test and Anthony Beauvillier will also be going into COVID protocol. We tried to pro-act to that last night not knowing what would transpire once we heard and we've recalled Grant Hutton, Richard Panik, Andy Andreoff and also Paul LaDue."

NYI vs CGY 11/20: Lou Lamoriello

Beauvillier is third on the Islanders with seven points (3G, 4A) in 13 games this season, while Pelech co-led the Islanders in ice time with 21:07 TOI/GP. Greene, who played his 1,000th NHL game on Monday, is averaging 17:38 TOI/GP and has 26 blocks this season.
Andreoff has nine points (3G, 6A) in 15 games with Bridgeport this season, as well as 179 NHL games on his resume. Panik has two goals in 11 games with Bridgeport, but has 517 games of NHL experience. Hutton has two goals in 10 games with Bridgeport and if he plays, would make his NHL debut. LaDue has one goal in 15 games this season and has 69 games of NHL experience.
Lamoriello said that despite the announcements, team morale is still strong and the group is focused on Saturday's home opener vs Calgary.
"Without question, morale has been exceptional," Lamoriello said. "This group is a special group. Adversity hits all of us and sometimes, or more often than not, makes us stronger. Their focus is on the game. Certainly with some young players coming in, there's some enthusiasm, I'm sure within them. They're probably not showing it outwardly, but I'm sure they're excited to play and they played well in Bridgeport, so we're excited to see them in this platform."
Lamoriello did not have any further updates on Bailey, who is still in Florida, Lee or Johnston, who need to return negative tests on consecutive days to get out of protocol.
