Sebastian Aho was loaned to the Bridgeport Sound Tigers on Thursday

The New York Islanders loaned defenseman Sebastian Aho to the Bridgeport Sound Tigers on Thursday morning.
Aho, 22, had four points (1G, 3A) in 22 games with the Islanders this season spanning a pair of recalls, the first coming on Dec. 28 and the second on Jan. 11.
The loan to Bridgeport is likely to increase Aho's playing time, as the defenseman had only appeared in two games in March, most recently March 18 against the Carolina Hurricanes. Aho was selected to the AHL All-Star Classic in his rookie AHL season after posting 20 points (9G, 11A) in 30 games with the Sounnd Tigers.
