Kulemin Takes Home Silver
Nikolay Kulemin won his third medal at the IIHF World Championship, earning a silver medal on Sunday.
Team Russia fell 6-1 to Team Canada in the tournament final, but Kulemin earned his third piece of hardware, following a bronze in 2007 and a silver in 2010.
Kulemin finished the tournament with eight points (one goal, seven assists) in nine games. Unfortunately for Kulemin and Russia, they weren’t able to answer a potent Canadian offense, which opened up a 6-0 lead before Evgeni Malkin put Russia on the board.
