Western New York native Alex Tuch has a big body and a heavy shot, both attractive attributes at the NHL level. The 6’3” 213-pound Baldwinsville, NY, product is hard to miss on the ice and is turning heads after an offensive breakout. Tuch tripled his point production in a third of the games during his second year with the US NTDP. Tuch is committed to Boston College with linemate and Long Island native Sonny Milano.

Tuch is a big, power forward who does a lot of work that doesn't end up on the score sheet. Don't get the wrong impression, this kid can play the game. He's just not the type of player you will see carrying the puck through the neutral zone with speed, nor will he perform any spinorama's to avoid contact. North/south guy, with guts, passion and desire.

Julius Honka unleashed his offensive game after coming to the WHL from SM-Liiga in Finland. The Swift Current Broncos defenseman scored 56 points (16G, 40A) in his rookie season, quadrupling his goal totals last year in Finland. Honka won a gold medal at the World Juniors while playing a supporting role on Team Finland.

Honka made the transition to North America quite easily this year. He's an offensive-minded defender that really sees the ice well. He can break the puck out with speed and plays a very smooth transition game. Honka's a power-play guy that seems calms the play down in the offensive zone.

McCann is a terrific all-purpose forward. Like many of his fellow peers this year he's blessed with an all-around game. He doesn't specifically excel in any one area, but he makes up for it with versatility and inspired two-way play. He's smart and and efficient in the offensive zone.
