The TV station of the Dioceses of Rockville Centre to hold telethon

The Islanders will not have to travel far to help Telecare, the television station of the Dioceses of Rockville Center, during their 2007 telethon this Saturday and Sunday. Situated just minutes away from the Nassau Coliseum in Uniondale, more than half of the team will make an appearance at the annual Telecare Telethon held from 3-10 pm on Saturday, January 13 and from 12-10 pm on Sunday, January 14.

Radek Martinek and Joel Bouchard will be visiting the TV station on Saturday while ten Islanders will go on Sunday, including Alexei Yashin, Jason Blake and Rick DiPietro.
