Ryan Pulock Signs Two-Year Deal

The New York Islanders announced today that Ryan Pulock has agreed to terms on a two-year deal.
Pulock, 26, scored 35 points (10 goals, 25 assists) in 68 games with the Islanders last season, his third full year in the NHL. He added 10 points (two goals, eight assists) in 22 Stanley Cup Playoff games, while posting a team-high 22:42 TOI per game, as the Islanders advanced to the Eastern Conference Final.

The Islanders selected Pulock in the first round (15th overall) of the 2013 NHL Draft. The Dauphin, MB, native has led team defensemen in scoring in each of the past two seasons and has 108 points (31 goals, 77 assists) in 234 career games.

Pulock has played in 163 games with the Bridgeport Sound Tigers, American Hockey League affiliate of the Islanders, and scored 100 points (39 goals and 61 assists). He was selected to both the 2015 and 2016 AHL All-Star Classics and was named to the AHL All-Rookie Team at the completion of the 2014-15 season.
Pulock played four seasons of junior hockey in the Western Hockey League with the Brandon Wheat Kings. He totaled 210 points (64 goals and 146 assists) in 261 games. He was named to the WHL First All-Star Team (Eastern Conference) in each of his final three seasons.
Internationally, Pulock has represented Canada at the 2018 World Championships in Herning/Copenhagen, Denmark and at the 2012 World Junior Championships in Edmonton/Calgary.
