Milbury confirms Islanders home debuts of Satan, Zhitnik, Nilsson & Co. for Sept. 20 game

Your first chance to see Satan in an Islanders uniform -- and York, Zhitnik, Nilsson and the rest -- is less than three weeks away.

Tickets for the Islanders-Rangers pre-season game at Nassau Coliseum on September 20 will go on sale Wednesday, Sept. 7 at 9:30 am at all TicketMaster outlets, the Islanders Team Store and the Nassau Coliseum box office.

Islanders fans will not want to miss this matchup, and not just because it will be the first Islanders game at the Coliseum in more than 16 months. NEWYORKISLANDERS.COM has confirmed with GM Mike Milbury that, barring unforeseen circumstances, the Sept. 20 game will feature the Islander debuts of Miroslav Satan, Alexei Zhitnik, Michael York, Brent Sopel, Brad Lukowich and rookies Robert Nilsson and Petteri Nokelainen. Alexei Yashin is also expected to play in the game.

"It's our one and only home pre-season game and we want our fans to see our new players," said Milbury. "So count on seeing all of them on Sept. 20. From talking to the fans, they're every bit as excited as we are to be back. A pre-season game against the Rangers is a great way to get started."

Full season ticket subscriptions and partial plans are on sale now, so call the Islanders at 1.800.882.ISLES.
