Dal Colle Streaking…Again


Michael Dal Colle put up six points (one goal, five assists) in four games last week, extending his point streak to seven games (four goals, six assists). The Islanders 2014 first-round draft pick opened the week with an assist in wins over the London Knights and Ottawa 67’s and finished the week with a pair of two-point games. He recorded two helpers against the Peterbrough Petes and added a goal and an assist against the Kingston Frontenacs on Sunday. Dal Colle ranks 10th in the OHL with 71 points and ninth with 30 goals, while the Oshawa Generals lead the league with 80 points and hold a 20-point lead in the Eastern Conference.

Bridgeport Sound Tigers:  19-20-5-1, 5th in Northeast Division, T-13th in Eastern Conference

Despite scoring 10 goals in two games, the Bridgeport Sound Tigers finished the weekend with two losses. Kael Mouillierat scored twice and Griffin Reinhart (one goal, one assist) and Jesse Graham (two assists) each finished with two points in an 8-6 loss to the Hartford Wolf Pack on Friday. On Saturday night Alan Quine finished with four points (two goals, two assists) but the individual effort was not enough, as the Sound Tigers lost a scrappy (92 combined penalty minutes) 6-4 tilt to the Portland Pirates. With two assists Saturday, Reinhart finished the weekend with four points.

Aaron Ness Plays in AHL All-Star Game

Sound Tigers captain Aaron Ness played for the Eastern Conference All-Stars at the 2015 AHL All-Star Game in Utica, New York on Monday, Jan. 26th. Ness recorded a primary assist in the second period in a 14-12 loss to the Western Conference All-Stars.

Stockton Thunder: 14-28-1, 7th in Pacific Division, 13th in Western Conference

The Stockton Thunder snapped a 10-game losing streak, defeating the Utah Grizzlies 5-2 on Saturday. Alex Mallet and Jack MacLellan both finished with one goal and two assists in the win and Cody Reichard turned away 22 shots to earn the win.
