DURANDEAU CLOSING IN ON CAREER-HIGH:

Arnaud Durandeau had points in two of three games last week, notching his 19th and 20th assists of the season. Durandeau assisted on an equalizer on Wednesday, but despite tying up the game, the Halifax Mooseheads fell to the Moncton Wildcats in 4-3 overtime. On Friday Durandeau contributed a power-play assist in the Mooseheads' 5-4 overtime win against the Cape Breton Screaming Eagles. Durandeau's two-game point streak was snapped in Saturday's 11-1 loss to the Acadie-Bathurst Titan.
The Islanders' 2017 sixth-round pick is sixth in team points, with 34 so far this season. Durandeau is sixth in team goals (14) and seventh in team assists (20). He is one goal shy of matching his career-high in goals (15), set last season.

QUENNEVILLE EXTENDS POINT STREAK:

David Quenneville recorded an assist in both of games last week, extending his point streak to four games overall.
Quenneville started his week off with a helper in the Medicine Hat Tigers' 4-3 loss to the Kootenay ICE on Wednesday.. The defenseman's streak continued on Saturday with another assist in the Tigers' 3-2 loss to the Prince Albert Raiders in overtime.
The Islanders' 2016 seventh-rounder leads in team assists, with 34 in 46 games this season, and is second in both team points (53) and goals (19). Quenneville leads all WHL defensemen in points and is six points shy of his career high (59) set last season.

MIRAGEAS RECORDS ASSIST VS UCONN:

Ben Mirageas recorded one point in a pair of games against UConn last week. Mirageas dished his eighth assist of the season on Thursday, as the Providence Friars extended their winning streak to seven games with a 3-1 victory over UConn. The Friars' streak was snapped on Saturday night with a 3-1 loss to UConn.
The Islanders' 2017 third-round pick leads his team in power-play goals and is fifth on the team in goals. Mirageas has 15 points (7G, 8A) in 26 games this season.
