Here are this week's updates on the Islanders prospects:

DUFOUR KEEPS THE MOMENTUM GOING

William Dufour's scoring touch continues, as the winger is riding a five-game point streak for the Saint John Sea Dogs with seven points (5G, 2A) in that span.
The Islanders' 2020 fifth rounder (152nd overall) posted a two-goal performance on Oct. 15 that earned him the second star of the game in Saint John's 5-4 loss to Cape Breton. Dufour added an assist in a 4-3 OT win over Cape Breton on Oct. 16.
Through seven games this season, Dufour has compiled a team-high five goals and is second on the team with eight points through seven games.
The Sea Dogs and Dufour are ranked 14th overall in the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League with a 2-3-2 record.


JEFFERIES TALLIES THREE-GAME POINT STREAK

Alex Jefferies has strung together a three-game point streak for the Merrimack Warriors with three helpers over that span.
Jefferies, who the Islanders selected 121st overall (4th round) of the 2020 NHL Draft, now has three assists in four games to start his sophomore season.
Merrimack and Jefferies are ranked eighth overall in the Hockey East standings with a 0-1-0 conference record, but are 2-2 overall.


LENNOX, SAGINAW GET SEASON STARTED

Tristan Lennox and the Saginaw Spirit of the Ontario Hockey League (OHL) have officially begun their 2021-22 regular season.
In the season opener, Saginaw dropped a 4-2 decision to the Erie Otters on Oct. 16. Lennox started and made 21 saves on 24 shots in the loss.
The following night on Oct. 17, and facing the same opponent, Saginaw and Lennox responded in a winning fashion. Lennox received first star of the game honors as he backstopped Saginaw to a 2-1 victory over the Otters.
The Islanders' 2021 third rounder (93rd overall) came up with a 21-save performance. Through two games this season, Lennox has earned a 1-1-0 record, a 2.01 GAA and a 0.913 SV%.


LIUKAS KEEPS PRODUCING

Eetu Liukas, who the Islanders drafted 157th overall (fifth round) in the 2021 NHL Draft, has kept the momentum going this season with TPS' u20 squad over in Finland.
The left winger increased his points total on the season to 11 points (5G, 6A) through six games. In the last week, Liukas dished out two more assists.
