Welcome to the Islanders Prospect Report, a weekly roundup of the Islanders' junior, collegiate and European prospects. Visit our In the System page for more prospect content.
Here are this week's updates on Islander prospects:

In an 11-3 drubbing of the Niagara Ice Dogs, Maggio tallied a primary assist on the first goal of the game, just 33 seconds in, and he scored a goal of his own late in the second. Maggio scored his ninth of the season early in the second period in an eventual 7-4 loss to the Erie Otters.
Maggio is on a five-game goal streak and has been held pointless in just one of his 10 games this season. The Windsor Spitfires are currently first in the OHL's Western Division, and Maggio is second on the team in scoring with 17 points (9G, 8A) and first in points-per-game.

LJUNGKRANTZ LIGHTS THE LAMP

Alexander Ljungkrantz had his first multi-point game of the year for Brynäs IF on Oct. 25 against Frölunda HC.
Ljungkrantz earned an assist on Brynäs' first goal of the game, and then tied the game 3-3 with his own goal with a snipe on the rush. Brynäs went on to lose the game 5-3 and currently sit in 10th place in the SHL standings.

PIVONKA AND BERG SHINE

Jake Pivonka and Cameron Berg and the Omaha Mavericks came up to Long Island for a weekend series against LIU, and they impressed in the Mavericks' series sweep. Pivonka scored three points (1G, 2A) and Berg scored two (1G, 1A).
Both players assisted on the Mavericks' first goal on Oct. 28 in the 2-1 win. Berg scored late in the second period in the 7-1 win on a wrister from the right circle, and Pivonka scored early in the third off a one timer from the same spot. Pivonka has six points (2G, 4A) in eight games this season, while Berg has five points (2G, 3A) over that span.
Omaha sits at 4-3-1, and its next series comes against No. 6 ranked North Dakota, its first NCHC series of the season.
