Robin Salo, the Isles' 2017 second rounder (46th overall), has four points (1G, 3A) in 10 games with Orebro in the Swedish Hockey League. Salo and Orebro dropped to fifth place overall in the SHL with a 5-1-1-3 record (ROW, OTW, OTL, L) and 18 points.
In Finland's top league, Liiga, Matias Rajaniemi - who was selected in the sixth round in 2020 (183rd overall) - has played in seven games with the Pelicans, but has yet to record a point. The blueliner and Pelicans are ranked 12th overall in Liiga with a record of 3-5-0.
Also in Liiga, Ruslan Iskhakov and Otto Koivula are continuing to play. Iskahkov, the Isles' 2018 second rounder (43rd overall), has five points (2G, 3A) in eight games with TPS. The winger and TPS sit at 11th place in Liiga with a 2-3-3 record.
Koivula, Isles' 2016 fourth-rounder (120th overall), was loaned from Bridgeport to HIFK in Liiga and has scored once and added an assist through four games. The winger and HIFK are currently ranked fourth overall in Liiga with a 3-4-2 record.
Henrik Tikkanen, who was the Isles final draftee of 2020 (seventh round 214th overall), is competing in the second-highest Finnish league, Mestis, with IPK. The goaltender has suited up in seven of IPK's 11 games, has posted a 4-1-1 record and compiled a 2.31 GAA and a .899 SV%.
William Dufour, the Isles' 20202 fifth-round pick (152th overall), last played on Oct. 10 with the Drummondville Voltigeurs of the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League (QMJHL). The 'Q' is the sole league of the North American junior circuis to have started the 2020-21 campaign so far. As a result of positive COVID-19 tests, the league had to suspend play in its Quebec divisions until at least Oct. 28, which included Dufour and Drummondville.
Prior to the pause, Dufour had posted three assists in two games.
