GEORGE AND KNIGHTS ELIMINATED IN OHL FINALS

Isaiah George's season came to an end on Sunday night, as the London Knights fell 2-1 to the Peterborough Petes in Game Six of the OHL championship series.

The Knights trailed 1-0 until they tied the score with 12:01 left in the final frame on Sunday. The Petes retaliated 3:11 later to regain the one-goal advantage and held onto the narrow lead for the championship win. The Knights' power play went 0-for-4, while their penalty kill went 3-for-3.

George collected three points (3A) through 20 games of the postseason, including two points in the championship series. The Islanders' 2022 fourth-round draft pick (98th overall) took 20 shots and recorded 10 penalty minutes over that span.

Despite missing some time during the regular season with injury, the defenseman set a career-high with seven goals.
