The New York Islanders announced today the addition of A-1 First Class – Viking Moving and Storage, Inc. as a new corporate partner. A-1 First Class joins the organization as the Official Moving Company of the New York Islanders.

“As born and bred Long Islanders, this is a wonderful opportunity for our organization,” said Matthew Schwartzberg, President of A-1 First Class. “The Islanders’ community-focused philosophies of social outreach and hard work, both on and off the ice, fit our company culture and values perfectly. We also know that the next big move is going to be bringing the Stanley Cup to the island."

As part of this exclusive sponsorship, A-1 First Class Moving will offer special moving packages for all Islanders season ticket holders. Additional programs include a welcome package for families that move anywhere on Long Island and a Spotted on the Move truck-sight promotion that gives fans the opportunity to win Islanders tickets by spotting the team logo on A-1 First Class trucks. A-1 First Class will also sponsor an in-game seat upgrade promotion entitled Movin’ on Up.

“We are all very excited that A-1 First Class is moving onto our team,” said Justin Johnson, Islanders Senior Vice President of Corporate Partnerships. “A-1 First Class brings a great service to Long Islanders as a first rate business that helps grow our local communities. We’re looking forward to supporting the infrastructure of our towns and cities with this innovative partnership.”
