Game Two against Boston at the Halifax Metro Centre

By Jason Lockhart

The Islanders look to re-group from their 5-1 loss to the Bruins on Friday night in Moncton, NB as they play the back end of their "home-and-home" series versus Boston in Halifax, NS tonight at the Halifax Metro Centre. The game is scheduled for a 6:00 pm EST start with the Islanders designated as the home team.

After the game Friday night, Nolan was not upset about the lopsided loss revealing that "exhibition games are about evaluation."

Nolan will continue to evaluate the veterans and young players tonight making a few changes including adding Jeremy Colliton to the lineup. The players did not have a morning skate on Saturday with Nolan.

The Islanders look to improve upon their special teams last night after going 0 for 6 with the man advantage and allowing two power play goals against, but Nolan isn't concerned just yet with the special teams this early into the preseason.

"We had a couple power plays where we had the young guys out there to see how they'd react," said Nolan. "We haven't practiced our special teams; that will come in time."

Down south in Yarmouth, the Islanders rookie squad topped Acadia University 5-4 Saturday afternoon, after trailing 4-3 going into the third period.
