The New York Islanders announced today that passes for the 2014 Draft Party are now available online at Ticketmaster by accessing the link http://www.ticketmaster.com/event/00004CA6B5EAED3A. The Draft Party is scheduled for Friday, June 27 at Nassau Coliseum.

Passes to the annual event are free, but there is an eight-pass limit per individual. Nassau Coliseum doors will open at 5:30 p.m. and the live stream of the NHL Draft will begin at 7 p.m.

Fans will have the ability to watch the NHL Draft, with exclusive interviews provided by IslandersTV with members of the organization’s Hockey Operations department and each Islanders draft pick. IslandersTV will also provide behind the scenes draft footage, shot specially for Islanders fans.

Eric Boulton, Calvin de Haan, Anders Lee, Matt Martin and Ryan Strome will join the team’s official mascot Sparky and members of the Ice Girls at the Draft Party to sign autographs and take pictures.

The Draft Party will once again play host to the Islanders annual year-end merchandise sale, located in the Coliseum’s lower lobby, featuring 50% off all items. One-of-a-kind items, such as game-used equipment from your favorite players and team merchandise highlight just a few of the items available at half price. The Islanders Team Store, located next to the Nassau Coliseum Box Office, will also have additional sales and specials.

Interactive activities on the Coliseum event floor will include locker room tours, street hockey games, Islanders Community Events (I.C.E.) Tour interactive inflatables and a ferris wheel ride. The popular Hockey Hall of Fame exhibit will also return to the Draft Party, featuring historic jerseys, sticks and skates used by NHL legends. As a part of the Hall of Fame exhibits, there will be an Islanders centric mural painted throughout the day’s events.

The American Red Cross will host a blood drive in the Coliseum’s exhibition hall between noon and 7 p.m. Donors will receive two free tickets to a select Islanders home game during the 2014-15 regular season.
