Islanders Scout Mario Saraceno
On Sean Couturier - Couturier is a solid two-way centerman with great size and offensive instincts. He can play all situations effectively. He has a strong presence along the boards and in front of the net. He was a member of Canada’s World Junior U-20 team and finished fifth in the league in scoring after winning the title the previous season. He needs to work a little on his overall speed and acceleration.

NHL Central Scouting's Chris Bordeleau
On Sean Couturier - At his size, he'll be hard to pass up in the draft. He possesses a very good work ethic and he's out there for every important faceoff. He's very responsible in the defensive aspect of the game -- a rare quality for such a young player in junior hockey.

NHL Central Scouting's Chris Edwards
On Sean Couturier - Sean has excellent puckhandling and playmaking ability; he sees the ice and reads the play very well... He's extremely smart and gets himself into good scoring position. He plays a solid two-way game and is very responsible defensively.

Islanders Scout Vellu Kautonen
On Oscar Klefbom - Klefbom is a good skater who gets involved in the play. He plays physical and wants to make a difference out there.

Quebec Major Junior Hockey League
Drummonville Voltigeurs

The Drummondville Voltigeurs have only won the President’s Cup (league championship) once since the team’s inception in 1982. That win came during the 2008-09 season. The Voltigeurs also made it to the Memorial Cup finals in 1991, but lost to the Spokane Chiefs.

If selected, Sean Couturier would become the second
Islanders draft pick from Drummondville, joining Sylvain Michaud (2004, 276th overall).
